Brand Writer - B-to-B Marketing

We’re looking for someone who can assist in the creative execution of marketing materials with speed and precision. The ideal candidate brings print and digital expertise and a mastery of grammar and AP style, and is able to apply these specialties on demanding deadlines. Expected output is consistently strong and swift copy while maintaining a consistent brand voice. The writer works closely with requesters and project managers to develop and/or execute content for customer-facing marketing assets. He or she upholds the brand tone of voice, brand message guidelines, and global editorial standards. The writer will have access to subject matter experts, third-party and internal research and reports, and internal standards and best practices. He or she will be expected to understand changing business needs quickly within the context of industry trends. He or she works closely and collaboratively with the studio editor—both informally during concepting and drafting and formally during internal review. The writer works in concert with studio designers to develop and apply creative strategy and conceptual themes for studio projects.


• Copywriting for both digital and offline marketing initiatives, including print and web ads, event signage, pitch presentations, email, web content, social media, digital brochures, infographics

• Acknowledging key customer segmentation across our core businesses, with specialization in one or two business units

• Delivering world-class headlines and copy that drive measurable customer interest by writing customer-centric messages (e.g., customer benefits of our offers and solutions)

• Collaborating with creative team members and business partners to determine copy direction of branding and marketing initiatives • Performing basic levels of QA and proofreading on peer-generated copy

• Sharing best practices among peers and studios • Communicating clearly and promptly with peers and stakeholders to optimize project timelines

• Accurate and timely record-keeping in department systems Internal Partnership

• Setting project copy objectives with Schneider Electric SMEs
