Brand Strategy Manager

AQUENT is seeking a Marketing Manager for an exciting opportunity in McLean, VA!

As a member of the Brand Strategy team, you will help deliver the annual marketing plan, partnering cross-functionally to lead and inspire the organization forward in identifying new opportunity and implementing world class business grade marketing to accelerate growth and meet or exceed business objectives. Specifically, this role will be focused on Acquisitions marketing, leading product innovation and Sales/B2B relationship channel development.

- Partner with partner product design teams in identification and evaluation of new opportunities/territories/insights, guiding concept & value proposition development to align with brand and business objectives

- Leverage market research and analytics, and champion insight collection efforts directed at delivering compelling and differentiated product innovation and marketing

- Lead marketing strategy for B2B acquisitions team, focused on creation and implementation of the brand experience and relationship marketing strategy across the Sales and Business Development organization (e.g., Phone, Field, Bank, Tradeshows)

- Design channel strategy, develop strategy briefs and help steer work through agency and brand/creative partners, representing the target and needs rooted in business strategy

- Champion brand segment objectives, promoting the sharing of core insights and brand guidance, always seeking to drive connectivity, consistency, and shared understanding of the target audience and business goals

- Analyze business results, marketplace trends and audience insights to inform/advance our marketing strategy

- Support our well managed agenda and activities in support of driving transparency and connectivity across our various partners (including but not limited to brand book, acquisition playbook, team sharing/collaboration meetings, innovation pipeline, master learning agenda, customer experience)

- Advance our organizational competency by staying abreast of emerging trends and best-in-class brand B2B and relationship marketing experiences

An ideal candidate will have experience leading marketing and brand strategy efforts in large organizations, along with a proven ability to:
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Influence, inspire others in support of shared goals and objectives
• Navigate complex organization with multiple stakeholders
• Energetically introduce and champion ideas

QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or military experience
- At least 3 years of experience leading brand strategy efforts
- At least 3 years of experience leading marketing programs, including planning, execution, and analysis
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced, advertising/creative/strategy agency managing multiple projects and customers/accounts preferred
- Design thinking principles or agile/rapid design prototyping experience is preferred
- Multi-channel understanding and marketing approach experience across a broad set of channels (Mass media, Email, Direct Mail, Social Media, Events, PR, WWW, etc.)


Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications
- 1+ years of experience in financial services marketing efforts
- 1+ years of experience of B2B marketing experience
- 1+ years of experience leading marketing strategy in close collaboration with Sales organization

Technical Knowledge:
MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS Excel, MS Project (a plus), Acrobat
