Brand Strategist-eCommerce & Retail

This Brand Specialist will engage directly with multiple internal teams to optimize the product offerings & brand representation for key vendors/accounts/brands. Brand Specialists will utilize a wide range of skills and work across major functional areas such as site merchandising, inventory management, finance, operations and online marketing, to drive the performance of strategic vendor partners.

Brand Specialists will conceive, traffic and analyze a wide range of marketing and site merchandising efforts, to include marketing campaigns, search engine optimization (SEO) efforts, social media and other channels, to grow the vendor’s traffic, brand awareness, customer conversion, and revenue. Strong writing skills are critical, as Brand Specialists will schedule, produce, update and manage content on home category pages, to ensure a high quality customer experience.

In addition to site merchandising and marketing, this role is responsible for inventory management, refreshes, and conducting detailed analysis to identify opportunities to drive the vendor’s business.

Qualifications:

BA/BS degree required. The ideal candidate will have experience in oral and written communication, multi-tasking, and quantitative analysis. This position also requires prior experience with presentation, organization, and/or account management. Our environment is fast-paced, and requires someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, and analytical.

Preferred Qualifications:

3-5 years experience doing one of several roles: quantitative/financial analysis, retail buying, retail planning & allocation, product/project management, marketing or e-commerce. The ability to quickly learn a varied set of software and editing tools is necessary, and prior experience is a plus. Prior experience with presentation, organization, and account/vendor management is preferred.
