Our Client, global technology and gaming leader is recruiting for Events and Brans Partnerships contract role, based in Reading.

• We’re looking for a partnerships and events marketing specialist with a background in tech/entertainment.
They must be the most organised person in the world and be great at representing the company externally and driving others to engage.

The Partnerships and Events Manager will help to build and implement the EMEA HQ Partnerships and Experiential strategy, planning and implementation for all devices and markets within the EMEA region.

Key Accountabilities

Brand Partnerships

• Prepare monthly partnership e-emailers to territories and key stakeholders Attend partnership meetings on behalf of the Senior Partnerships and Events Manager when required.

• Work with Legal department to manage the partnership contracts process.
• Report management.
• Developing deep relationships with key partners
• Acquire and distribute required artwork assets for agencies and partners.
• Manage games, console and band samples out to partners. Keep a log.
• Update the partnership pitch decks with revisions when necessary.
• Create a document and regularly update information on channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Website etc.
• Regularly liaise with the Ad team exchange information on the partners and brands that they and the partnerships department are working with, to ensure synergy and no clashes.
• Be a point of contact for agencies (Wunderman, NJ Live, Envy)
• Raise purchase orders.
• Work with the territories to collate details of specific partnership and event activity across EFIGS.
• Work with territories to look at competitor activity and report back to key stakeholders.
• Work with global to acquire specific game presentations and assets for partners.
• Liaise with internal FTE’s to raise NDA’s and keep a database log of partners that have signed NDA’s.
• Work with Supply Chain to ensure adequate SKU allocation of required consoles for upcoming partnerships.


• Ability to develop and drive trial programmes across devices
• Minute event preparation meetings with global.
• Managing console and pod distribution.

• General

• Drive clear ROI for both partnerships and experiential programmes within EMEA.
• Build a strong Partnerships and experiential community within the key EMEA markets.
• Budget management and reporting.

Influence and Alignment with Key Stakeholders:

• Ability to influence global colleagues to ensure key partnership and experiential strategies are optimized for the EMEA region.
• Collaborate with all key EMEA HQ marketing teams and key stakeholders to ensure visibility and alignment - product development, marketing and BIGS.
• Build mutually beneficial relationships with the Global partnerships and experiential teams in Redmond and with all key marketing and partnerships leads within EMEA.
• A self-starter. Ability to impact and influence; to sell your ideas to internal and external stakeholders and make them stick.
• Ability to resolve conflict’s easily and quickly via win win scenarios.
• A positive and passionate presenter who engages key stakeholders and potential brand partners.

Stakeholder engagement:

• Act as trusted advisor to local, regional and global executives on key strategies and plans.
• Develop and maintain extremely strong interpersonal relationships with key business stakeholders, winning their trust as an ongoing leader.
• Be the EMEA’s thought-leader and subject-matter expert for the global Interactive Entertainment Business team
