Brand Marketing Manager

Aquent's Fortune 500 retail client is looking for a Brand Marketing Manager to work a 3 month contract in Minnetonka, MN. We are looking for a strategic marketer and results-oriented person to support the B2C Director and lead the global marketing communications and strategy for the loyalty program. This person will be responsible for meeting business goals, creating strategies and executing highly integrated marketing plans and offers to drive engagement and incremental activity from members. This person is an advocate for the loyalty brand and ensures all communications are upholding the brand standards. This will include all global campaign’s, web and mobile content as well as social media. The manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders including regional teams, brands, digital, rev ops, data and analytical team as well as agencies and customer services

Essential Functions

Member Engagement and Communication Strategies:
• Support B2C Director with the development of global campaign’s and new strategic engagement initiatives
• Create and execute targeted and/or member-exclusive campaigns, support member only rate exclusive initiative to increase loyalty program revenue, program engagement and program membership
• Provide content and manage monthly loyalty marketing communications, such as eNewsletter and eStatements. Solicit offers from regional and rev ops, brand marketing, etc., to develop communication content calendar and prioritize stories and offers according to the business objectives
• Work with the internal and agency analytical team on campaign performance and how to learn from findings on performance for each campaign and adjust quickly for future initiatives
• Analyze customer data, identify customer segments, define actionable segments, and implement test and control groups to refine and scale campaigns in order to create strategic initiatives
• Use data-backed measurement and analysis to constantly test, refine and scale campaigns
• Develop and execute member redemption strategies including education and offers
• Introduce milestone recognition for members

Collaboration across functional teams and agencies:
• Manage the day to day creative agency relationship to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget
• Manage the day to day social media agency relationship; work with them on the strategy and execution of plan as well as collaborate with digital social media team
• Partner with digital team for online acquisition, awareness and revenue optimization
• Email Team: collaborate and work closely to provide strategy, planning, copy, creative and segmentation for all email campaign’s
• Branding: manage agency, creative and brand standards globally
• Web: collaborate and provide direction and strategy for content development, content planning and special projects
• App: responsible for strategy execution and content delivery
• Work with cross-functional teams to lead the creation and preparation of new campaigns for execution including campaign strategy, offer development, business case creation and approval, communication brief development, and client targeting
• Integrate initiatives across all appropriate marketing and operational functions and coordinate globally with counterparts
• Manage budget, estimates and invoices associated with initiatives
• Support regional loyalty teams in execution of targeted campaigns
• Monitor competitor CRM and Loyalty programs, testing and adopting best practices to continuously improve program performance and value
• Lead ad-hoc projects and initiatives that bring about change or improve the business
• Measure and review campaign performance, track progress towards KPIs to ensure the business goals are met and marketing points balance is on track
• Owner of the marketing communication annual budget that includes all agencies, marketing assets, online media as well as promotional points issued

Tactical marketing to support brands and regional teams:
• Develop strategic marketing plans to support the program, as well as to further engage with members, present proposal and manage execution across multi-channel including translations, delivering assets and content, tracking and reviewing post campaign results
• Collaborate with brand stakeholders to develop brand specific campaigns designed to further engage members with specific brand preferences and align with brand initiatives

Requirements/Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
• 2-3 years’ experience in CRM/ Digital marketing strategy development and implementation
• Experience in managing customer focused campaigns that drive customer acquisition, retention and/or cross sell
• Strong writing and presentation skills and the ability to effectively motivate and influence others with attention to detail
• Creative mindset of continually thinking and presenting new ideas on how to enhance Marketing's impact on the business
• Strong analytics and marketing experience required.
• Ability to summarize business and financial information accurately for planning and decision-making
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and Photoshop
• Ability to establish mutually productive and positive relationships with internal and external groups.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing business conditions and priorities
