Brand Marketing Coordinator

AQUENT has an immediate need for a Brand Marketing Coordinator for a l2-month contract opportunity. The ideal candidate should have strong business writing skills and analytical skills to assist in communications, analyzing and interpreting results and future planning.

· Strong working knowledge of graphic design, basic desktop video editing, and communications, including development of online documents and materials, typically acquired through college level courses in interactive design or a related field, or at least 1 year of related web-based experience in a corporate environment.

· Excellent presence as well as oral and written communications skills

· Must have good spelling and grammar.

· Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously required. High attention to detail is a must.

· Strong understanding of marketing concepts, terminology, and must stay abreast of all product marketing trends. Must be able to apply basic marketing concepts.

· Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple projects. Must be proactive, possess high attention to detail, exercise the ability to work independently, prioritize projects and demonstrate a sense of urgency on delivery. Must be a motivated self-starter and ensure project follow through. Must be resourceful and solution-focused.

· Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, but must ensure direction is aligned with Supervisor. Must be able to work independently and effectively with teams.

· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Office SharePoint, and PowerPoint is required. Working knowledge of Qualtrics, InDesign, Adobe Premiere, MS Office, Citrix, Windows Movie Maker, MS Publisher to prepare and publish presentations, articles, videos and visual communication pieces and promotional support also required.

· Must be able to lift and move boxes up to 25 pounds, filled with products to organize and maintain inventory closet.

· International shipping experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist team with the development of various presentations and meetings/events by creating appealing visual and video content and communication assets. Daily use of advanced PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, Prezi, Adobe Premiere Elements, and Adobe Photoshop skills to produce professional and compelling video and visual marketing support.

– This includes, but is not limited to, designing the custom PowerPoint themes for different products and programs, product shipment inserts/booklets for influencers, digital newsletters, infographics, custom graphics and logos, posters and other interactive elements for special events/meetings, giftable assets such as stationery, and other assets as needed.

– Under the direction of Project Owners or Manager, adds formatting, links, animation and appropriate graphics while maintaining the Brand standards. Utilizes ability to work with PDF documents and other software to create, edit, save, and post content.

– Creates customized PowerPoint presentations within tight timelines.

– Creates, edits, and produces videos and assists with digital photography as needed. Interfaces with Project Owners frequently, Creative Services regarding graphics/design, IST for technical input, A/V for audio and video production as needed.

· Coordinates and administers communication of the Bi-monthly Communication, the Sales and Marketing eNewsletter.

– Supports the Editor in planning and managing the editorial calendar in response to requests from various internal departments.

– Provides information to requesting parties regarding the timing, process, appropriateness of content, and other available methods of sharing.

– With general direction from Editor, analyzes incoming requests to determine the best communication, seeks out additional context, gathers information regarding the content, drafts the communication and communicates to Editor.

– Collects content ideas from multiple sources, including Editor, emails, announcements, InsideMK, Brand calendars, and more.

– Uses latest technology for achieving a greater audience.

· Works with Project Owners to coordinate and design information in compelling infographic, videographic, or other appropriate methods of sharing for reports that are distributed companywide.

· Continually monitors Global Toolkit Share Drive and Brand Central marketing share point site to help streamline and update content. Proactively initiates changes and updates based on thorough knowledge of the site, as well as by keeping abreast of marketing activities and delivery of resource timing.

– With general direction from Supervisor, adds and deletes files as necessary to ensure only pertinent information appears and is searchable by the appropriate naming conventions. Creates and manages changing navigation links at various levels, and cross-links with other areas of Brand Central to ensure all links are live and up-to-date

· Conducts regular reporting and creates reports on market utilization of Corporate assets, including global social media sites, the Global Makeup Artist Team and PR mentions. Draws insights and shares findings with team monthly.

· Conducts marketing research through the use of iSite, Qualtrics surveys, as well as collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data. Manually monitors and gathers information across various social media platforms.

· Assists with administrative functions including, but not limited to:

– Booking meeting rooms, preparing expense reports, assisting with travel planning, ordering supplies

– Maintaining budget chart and expense reporting.

– Manages content of SharePoint site and act as team administrator to ensure that appropriate individuals have permission to site and secure content as needed.

– Manages special program logistics and paperwork as needed (example: GMAT contract management)

– Shipping materials and products, including to international markets

– Ideation note taker and Consolidating brainstorming notes

– Supports the independent sales force by responding to or redirecting phone calls, emails and working special events if needed.
