As a Brand Manager/Domain Manager for 7+ months at a Fortune 500 multi-national tech company in San Francisco, you will advise internal teams on the domains where their web pages should live, and register those domains, including managing the domains agency.
Brand Domains Management means you will be responsible for partnering with teams on how best to direct users to our many product and marketing websites, monitoring and approving the use of all domains at the company, and ensuring that we are helping users navigate the company, taking a clear branding approach, and keeping our technical infrastructure secure. You will manage our budget and relationships with our close vendor partners. You will also look for both strategic and process opportunities to improve how we manage our domains.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
_Manage requests for domains where internal teams want to host and market their websites. Requests are collected via a queue that this person will manage.
_Respond to requests and help walk teams through registration process.
_Advise teams on strategic domain choices and defensive domain registrations.
_Bachelor’s degree and/or 4-6 years in a brand management related field
_Strong project and time management skills
_Strong interpersonal skills - friendly and authoritative
_Excellent attention to detail
_Ability to apply domains guidelines to straightforward and more tricky cases
_Comfort making creative and strategic brand judgement calls
_Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, team environment and the ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management within the company
