Brand Manager

As a Brand Permissions Manager, you’re a steward of this top tech company brand. You're expected to develop a deep and wide understanding of brand architecture and work with internal teams as well as external partners to coordinate and execute key brand approvals.

Key Responsibilities:
-Manage brand permission inquiries from external and internal stakeholders; review internal and external requests within internal tool and system submitted by outside resources
-Review a robust queue of internal and external inquiries asking for clearance or guidance on how to apply the brand.
-Coordinate approvals of brand opportunities and work with partners to help them apply the brand in the right way
-Manage inquiries in an internal tool that allows for cross team collaboration
-Coordinate with external agencies when working on entertainment based permissions
-Coordinate across all departments (products to legal) to find the right answers to some tough questions
-Send multiple, quick, concise, friendly emails setting expectations and referencing brand guidelines, all while embodying the company's voice
-Review content and visuals, and have a strong understanding of what is on brand and what is not
-Collaborate on special brand projects as needed


Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS degree
4 years of work experience in brand and (preferred) technology marketing
Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, team environment and the ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management within Google
Strong communication skills - ability to interface with various groups within the company
Strong writing skills - ability to capture the Google voice
Have a strong design and contextual eye that allows you to see mock-ups, scripts, visuals, editorial as “on-brand” or “off-brand”
Ability to multi-task

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledgable in branding
Creative or editorial background to allow for succinct content approval/disapproval
