Brand Manager

Our large financial services client located in downtown Boston is looking for a Brand Manager for a year-long contract. The Brand Manager will coordinate with internal marketing teams (creative teams, marketing managers, content teams, etc.), business/product developers and, if needed, external vendors to develop, promote and maintain key product brands for one of the companies four main competencies.

Responsibilities:
• Create and manage brand assessment, development and implement plans in keeping with business objectives; consider interdependencies across the brand portfolio
• Liase with marketing and product teams to maximize plan efficiencies and outcomes
• Facilitate brand audits and evaluations
• Coordinate development and execution of creative/communication assets in keeping with overall project plans
• Deliver regular updates to relevant product teams and senior managers

Skills:
• Undergraduate degree in brand management and/or integrated marketing required
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal / relationship management skills
• Strong collaboration, partnership, influence and negotiation skills are required
• Ability to deliver presentations to senior management
• Thorough understanding of brand strategy, marketing strategy, and how the two interact to build equity and create value for customers
• Proven experience with a range of marketing and communication avenues (websites/microsites, proprietary software products, print/digital trade advertising, direct mail, events and tradeshows, etc.), media types, production methods and logistics
• Adept at managing complex development and implementation timelines, project scopes and budgets
• Advanced knowledge of project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel) and methodologies
• Institutional and/or financial marketing experience a plus
