AQUENT is seeking a talented Brand Manager to support Social Media & Customer Experience efforts, including campaigns and content development for our client in Wilmington. The Brand Strategy team plans, develops and coordinates delivery and communications for our Client’s products and services to ensure awareness, profitability and competitiveness. And ensures that their Brand personality, values and reputation are maintained through everything they do for Customers and future Customers. Across every touch point. Social Media & Customer Experience is a huge part of this effort.

Job Summary:
You’ll work with Line of Business & Digital stakeholders as well as agency partners to deliver the Brand through marketing campaigns, differentiated content and business-as-usual support across all direct bank social channels. What’ else? You’ll support new campaigns and launches, existing product/campaign support and day-to-day management of community engagement. And you’ll work collaboratively and across functions to deliver the Brand through several social and Customer touch points and deliver on specific Brand objectives – Brand Fame & Customer Love – along with business objectives for long-term Customer profitability.

Beyond Social Media, you’ll help develop strategy and messaging for bi-annual campaigns and cross-product campaigns, plus new Customer on-boarding programs. Responsibilities include delivering all content and creative for execution to stakeholders – including website, banner, email and social channels.

Essential Functions:
• Agency Management
• Brief development
• Messaging strategy development
• Content strategy development
• Campaign strategy & management
• Delivery of a phenomenal creative work product that meets objectives
• Line of Business partnership
• Brand Voice and personality Management through all social media touch points
• Alignment across other Line of Business brand groups for consistency
• Tying Social Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to Brand equity and Customer experience metrics for long-term brand health

Experience & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
• MBA is a plus
• Previous brand management experience on agency or client side is a must
• Community management experience is a plus
• Understanding of technology, Social Media participation (more than just Facebook) a must

Technical skills and abilities:
• Thinks digital first – student of digital and must be fascinated by it – digital experience is a must
• Must be skilled in Creative Brief writing, campaign development and strategic positioning
• Team player
• Be hands-on and ready to roll up sleeves in order to get things done
• Personality to work effectively with internal and external partners
• Good communications skills
• Ability to thrive in an ever-changing environment
• Resourceful, innovative creative thinker
