Brand Manager

Our University client is searching for an excellent Brand Manager to help establish and execute an overall brand strategy for their Alumni Relations department, tying together our multiple engagement offerings, positioning and marketing in a unified manner.

The Brand Manager would-
Understand and clearly articulating the brand essence of the department, instilling it into all of our marketing materials.
Create and enforce branding guidelines, in conjunction with our design team, across all of our marketing channels ensuring all materials stay on message and reinforce our brand promise.
Work with the department team to develop and implement effective omni-channel marketing campaigns for the department and University events, programs, benefits, and services.
Maintain communications calendar to track and manage scheduling of outreach to alumni from all areas of the university to ensure proper execution of our integrated marketing strategy.
Conduct market research—both primary and secondary—to evaluate the perception of the department brand among our constituents. Analyzing results of marketing campaigns to convey successes or drive strategic repositioning, if necessary.

This individual would be more digitally savvy compared to a traditional background.

Knowledge and Skill-set

Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree a plus.
Minimum of five years or more of marketing, brand management, or public relations experience.
Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills are required.
Strong research and analytics skills are necessary to identify trends in the marketplace.
Knowledge of Social Media strategy, Salesforce.com, or similar CRM system, and analytics tools, is a plus.
