AQUENT is recruiting for a Brand Manager for an exciting opportunity in Houston, TX!

The ideal candidate will have a passion for small business and bias towards action. Must be comfortable creating digital experiences and have the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, work autonomously, navigate ambiguity, and problem-solve.

Responsibilities:
• Obsess about Small Business owners and champion B2B insights to deliver compelling and differentiated marketing strategies and tactics that drive customer action.
• Analyze business results, marketplace trends and consumer insights to inform/ advance positioning, product strategy, claims, branding and marketing strategy.
• Develop and execute compelling B2B marketing strategies and digital/social campaigns/content that include competitive analysis, business case rationale, briefing marketing/creative teams, and sound strategy.
• Manage various projects simultaneously and communicate with attention to detail and strong management of deadlines and milestones.
• Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of content.
• Create test-and-learn agendas and develop new strategies to achieve specific business goals and thoughtfully recommends KPIs and benchmarks to help measure success.
• Lead meetings with other strategists, creatives, publishers, and social engagement associates.
• Bring forward strategic recommendations, innovative ideas, and fresh approaches to guide the brand and marketing strategy.
• Be a good communicator. Outstanding writing, editorial, presentation and influence abilities across all levels of management.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with brand strategy/positioning a plus.
- Experience with B2B marketing is preferred.
- Experience with marketing for a SaaS is a plus.

Technical skills and abilities:
• Thinks digital first – student of digital and must be fascinated by it.
• Customer centricity and passion for the Customer experience is a must.
• A strong understanding of web and social media trends and technologies.
• Team player.
• Personality to work effectively with internal and external partners.
• Resourceful, innovative creative thinker.
• Ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams, work autonomously and navigate ambiguity.
