This is a unique opportunity to lead an in-house brand design team for a fast growing, global online business. You will be in charge of the team who creates the guidelines and guards the brand image. You will overlook prioritization of the design work against the company business goals and the development of creative marketing content for our core markets, from concept to design completion. You will have responsibility for the quality and consistency of creative deliverables for online and offline channels, in 22 global markets. You will work collaboratively with the Video and Marketing Teams and directly plan and support development of the brand. Please note, UX/UI design is NOT in the scope of this role.
What you will directly contribute to:
Taking briefs from global marketing teams
Designing key visuals and proposing strong design solutions for multi channel campaigns in line with marketing objectives
Prioritization of design work within the team and Design Team organisation
Brand guardianship: ensuring quality and consistency of all content design
Overseeing ongoing content requests in line with overall marketing objectives and ensuring their fast and efficient delivery
Sourcing and management of third-party suppliers and partners to ensure brand fit, creative and operational standards
Helping to recruit talent
Motivating, training and developing both your team and art workers based in local teams
Process management: identifying improvements & innovations with the goal to drive effectiveness of the team and efficiency of content delivery
What you will need to be successful
6-8 years of brand building experience on several markets
Great portfolio to show
Experience in managing the team (Agile management experience a plus)
International work experience, working directly with local markets
Experience in marketing or working closely with marketing teams
Educated to Degree level or equivalent in design or brand marketing
A confident and impactful cross-team communicator, able to clearly explain creative choices grounding them in business objectives
Passionate, committed, creative leader, able to inspire, guide and mentor successfully
Comfort working in a start up culture with a high growth, agile environment
Problem-solver who embraces constant change
Additional European languages a plus
To succeed in this role you will need to be comfortable with designing performance-oriented digital marketing content, being a strategic thinker, comfortable working in a business oriented way. You will have proven experience of leading high-level marcom content projects and brand multichannel campaigns. You will be proactive, enjoy developing and coaching a team, and be able to balance doing design work whilst simultaneously managing the team and projects.
Please note that, although UI UX skill is of course useful to designing online content, the scope of this role does NOT include UI UX design of our website or apps. The role is 100% focused on creation and management of marcom content.
Travel to local offices to understand local market challenges will be an important part of this role.
