Brand Content Manager

Need a Brand Content Manager to combine strategy basic and content creation, while capturing an audience.

On-site (Carson, CA)
Fulltime (40 hrs)
Contract to hire

Day to day:
• Develop plans & editorial calendars that deliver long term and short term content strategy that align with the company’s marketing and business strategies, vision and culture.

• Establish consistency of message across multiple platforms. Serve as an Editor-in-Chief for all communications content and ensure proper messaging is being published on all digital channels

• Partner closely with Brand Managers to develop innovative social/digital campaigns and content strategy to drive brand/product awareness, trial and sales.

• Be the social media voice and guardian of the company’s reputation by monitoring, creating and assembling content for our various platforms including but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Tumblr, Google+, and other social media platforms..

• Evaluate effectiveness of company’s digital marketing efforts and adjust accordingly to drive results in an ongoing basis. Establish and report performance metrics for the different platforms: determine what works and optimize content based on analytics.

• Copywriting and editing content to meet brand standards and guidelines

• Work with in-house design and video teams to conceptualize, design, create and manage content and generate buzz

Must have experience:
• 3+ years of branded content and social media experience in smaller company/brand – show us the trail of magic that you regularly create

• Content Marketing – Demonstrated experience with successful management and execution of a content marketing strategy.

• Strong project management skills – Ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and deliver on time

• Social Media Marketing – Proven experience using social media channels to distribute and amplify the organization’s content.

• Editing – Proven editorial skills including strong language skills and the ability to adjust content to remain consistent with brand, style and tone.

• Blogging – Successful management of a business blog that furthers organizational goals.

• WordPress – The ability to create content within and troubleshoot issues with the WordPress platform.

• Copywriting – An understanding of how to create and present content that persuades.

• Analytics – An excellent command of analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics or Omniture, to adjust marketing strategy and tactics.

• Strong knowledge of (including but not limited to): Facebook, Facebook Ads, Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Keywords etc.

• High energy level is essential; strong, dedicated work ethic a must.

• BS/BA required in a related field (e.g., Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or Public Relations)

• Native Spanish speaker a plus

• Be able to travel 5% of the time
