Brand Analyst (Ent Brands)

Support the Entertainment Brands Global Brand Team to help drive financial growth and execute on strategy and planning for the various seasons in development


Quantitative Analysis
Project Management

Analysis and Action

Analyze market / segment opportunities for new property launches and product line extensions.
Put together financial analysis and recommendations for various planning scenarios.
Build PowerPoint decks in support of various upcoming meetings and presentations
Coordinate marketing assets including sizzles and visual collateral

Project Management

Manage various ongoing projects in support of Brand Strategy for WWE, WB and other Entertainment brands
Assist in the execution of global brand-building activities and development of global marketing tools, including brand and product advertising, and development of content with internal and external groups
Coordinate all facets of upcoming global subsidiary presentations
Help streamline various team process and organize shared team information

Cross Functional Team Leadership

Support Marketing Manager's communication needs with design, development and other cross functional teams
Collaborate with global subsidiaries to address global needs and market feedback
Summarize meeting notes and centralize communication for ongoing team meetings

Consumer and Customer Insights

Conduct competitive analysis including retail visits and NPD reviews
Review weekly NPD results and make recommendations to go-forward strategies

Skills              COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

In addition to MAT PICS the following functional competencies apply:

Demonstrated understanding of standard marketing techniques
Basic understanding of licensing business
Basic understanding of financial evaluation and business strategies that drive brand growth
Ability to analyze existing data (market trends, volume projections, competitive information, etc.) and derive strategic insights to make solid, sound recommendations to drive the business
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook)

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field


1-2 years of experience in consumer/brand marketing management and/or licensing management
Experience working in a CPG, toy, entertainment, retail, or related industry preferred
Thorough understanding of standard marketing techniques
Demonstrated strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Excellent written/verbal, time management and quantitative/analytical skills required


Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated positive attitude, sees challenges as opportunities and translates them into actionable items
Strong sense of urgency; self-starter, proactive
High flexible and adaptable to change in a dynamic environment
Strong attention to detail
Demonstrated strong facilitation skills and ability to identify common ground amongst individuals with divergent opinions and perspectives
