Brand & Marketing Manager

Role Objectives:

An exciting new role has opened up in this brand new division within a national giant in retail. You will be tasked with building the brands into a retail offer. You will be responsible for introducing new customers to the brands whilst building a solid base of loyal customers who return to the range regularly. The Brand and Development manager will be expected to drive sales and market share for the New Food Experience businesses.

You will have come from a dynamic business – either retail or FMCG and have first hand, hands-on experience of delivering new brands to market from inception to delivery on shelf .

Key Accountabilities:

You will work with the New Food Experience Businesses to develop retail Brand Guidelines. These are developed over time, as and when the businesses develop their main Brands
You will be the guardian and champion of these Brand Guidelines and ensure the ranges and propositions are in line with them, all the way through to shelves in store and online.
You must have had experience managing creative agencies, key stakeholders etc.

Customer Proposition & Range Building:

You will identify opportunities by interpreting market trends and customer research. Then use these to build development plans for brands in collaboration.

Optimise the brand through the on shelf/online execution, packaging, design and PR

Trade Planning & Marketing Communication:

You will liaise across the business to input into the trade plan and ensure space is given to the New Food Experience brands
Work with 3communication agencies to deliver brand communication across channels
Use customer research and insight pre and post launches to develop customer offers and communication
You will be expected to contribute to the department viewpoint plan.
