Blingual Latino Market Monetization Manager

Role Purpose
• Maximize advertising and conversion monetization across SGO (Storefront Global Organization) with emphasis on the US Latino market
• Inform decisions about monetization, course correct and share learnings/ best practices
• Support and sustain the business model, based on revenue share to content publishers
• Support the advertising sales agency in the construction of creative solutions and branded experiences by vertical and across the verticals.
• Support traffic shaping requirements for creative solutions
• Support generation and optimization of sponsored content formats
• Drive innovative content integration initiatives driving additional revenue opportunities
• Drive partnerships to create new revenue streams
• Drive programmatic and exchange RTB revenue by optimizing our products with the objective on increasing the ads performance, quality and view-ability
• Support Stores revenue generation by analyzing and optimizing the purchase funnel, the conversion rate and the ROI
• Support revenue generation

Role Summary
• Key monetization interface between SGO markets and adverting agencies, including creative and branded solutions, traffic requirements, value-selling, programming and product asks. This role will support local market leads providing deep knowledge and expertise to the sales community and bridging to local leads and to the product team. Collaborate on monetization product requests with relevant PMs (SGO Program Managers) in platform and vertical teams
• Sales support: presentations and analysis for brand advertising, creative solutions and supporting external pitches
• International interface (“catcher”) for Vertical monetization Product Managers maximizing monetization across verticals. The Vertical monetization Product Managers are a centralized team of monetization specialists based in the US assigned to each vertical to help maximise revenue globally.
• Communicating monetisation best practices to SGO and advertising agency, leveraging learnings from other SGO markets
• Drive and land pitch decks and readiness materials in advertising agency (and sales house support readiness as required)
• Support emerging business opportunities by supporting advertising agency and SGO business development as appropriate

Role Account-abilities
Monetization and Merchandising
• The key accountability is to maximize advertising monetization from the apps in the relevant markets. Another key accountability is to enable optimal monetization by maximizing Branded Experience revenues.
• Form specific views on ad types and placements. Compare across markets and verticals. Note best practices and issues and seek to course correct/ share learning
• In conjunction with Market Leads, Managing Editors and Vertical Leads, use audience analysis to better monetize traffic
• Define new formats and ways to generate revenue from merchandising and optimize the Store conversion funnel
• Form a holistic view of monetization from different programs (eg CPC vs CPA) and ad formats
• Connect with advertising agency Solution Specialists and Monetization Teams

Creative Solutions
• Support in-market Vertical Leads and Managing Editors as an interact with adverting agency for creative solutions
• Support ideation with advertising agency for creative solutions
• Support construction of the creative solution project definition – scope and estimate the traffic cost for creative solution campaigns
• Support the Managing Editor on traffic shaping requirements and ROI calculation working with centralized monetiation team
• Support custom solutions implementation process from conceptualization to execution to deliver campaigns on-time and on budget
• Monitoring - Track performance of sponsorship campaigns reporting to advertising clients as required
• Track performance of live sponsorship campaigns, including revenues, metrics etc.
• Keep editorial team informed about campaigns status, performance and risk, and work closely with them to ensure targets are met
• Support Market Leads on the approval process for creative solutions and new advertising formats

Traffic shaping
• Support Managing Editors and/or Vertical Leads to accommodate traffic shaping requests from advertising agency teams
• Support ROI analysis of traffic shaping
• Work with centralised team to share best practices, models, learnings with in-market teams
• As required, accompany sales to client meetings wherever possible, especially for creative or proactive pitches, providing in-depth portal knowledge to help win contracts

Secondary Accountabilities
• Support selling the SGO events calendar into local advertising agency teams
• Drive sales – Serve as a product evangelist with advertising agency sales team, and play active role in all sales pitches preparation
• Best practices – share creative/successful campaigns with regional peers for leveraging purposes, deliver best practices to advertising agency team, and share successful campaigns for trade marketing purposes
• As required, accompany sales to client meetings especially for creative or proactive pitches, providing in-depth portal knowledge to help win contracts

Knowledge and Experience
• >5 years of experience in digital marketing and content marketing
• Preferably Monetization Manager or Sales Excellence experience for a digital publisher or a sales house / media agency
• Deep understanding of the value proposition of a brand and how to translate this into compelling content
• Experience of working with online sales, marketing, editorial teams and external agencies as the customer would be extremely helpful
• Experience in Business Consulting is a plus
• Strong analytic skills especially with regard to digital media (site and audience centric)
• Ability to synthesize data and make specific, data-backed recommendations
