**Please note this role is 4 days per week at $93,000 + super which pro rata equates to $75,000 + super.**

As the Bids Specialist you will play a key role in supporting each business line across Australia (and New Zealand where applicable) in meeting its client retention and sales strategies.

The role works with each of the organisations four primary business lines in this region. The business itself is a global organisation in the Fintech space. They were originally founded here in Melbourne and have grown to be one of the powerhouses of financial technology across the globe. 

Your role is primarily responsible for developing robust relationships with key business stakeholders to drive content and collateral development, key project management and various support activity related to the management and execution of major bids (requests for tender/information, significant contract renewals etc.).

As the Bids Specialist, in collaboration with the Bid Manager, you will share ownership and lead the maintenance and enhancement of a ‘self-service’ bid toolkit that will be leveraged by sales and relationship management teams across the enterprise in order to independently manage their own bids.

This role requires a highly organised and motivated person with a strong sense of team work and a keen eye for the detail.

Key responsibilities...

Bid project manager and support 

You will establish required folders/templates/administration structure for each bid.

You will develop, distribute and maintain bid project information – timelines, meeting minutes, action items etc.

A key area of the role will be to ensure the smooth operation of all required activities for each bid – schedule meetings, coordinate the approval process, coordinate independent proofing with required attendees/participants and ensure rooms and resources are coordinated in line with each bid’s needs. 

Copy writing, editing and proofing

You will be responsible for copy editing and proofing bid content and collateral developed/written by other bid team members and business line sales personnel.

You will work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop both generic and bespoke content for bid collateral.

Essential bid support and design

Researching prospective/existing clients will be key as well as developing research material for use during the bids process.

You will be responsible for updating CRM and other key sales enablement tools and systems as required.

Innovative bid management and stakeholder education

Collaborate and work with the Bid Manager and Senior Manager, Marketing & Sales Support to:

- Regularly maintain the mature online toolkit that can be independently leveraged by sales personnel to develop their own winning bid collateral.

- Develop new collateral i.e. presentations, diagrams to meet any growing or changing business demands in support of client retention and sales strategies

Bids Hub and Content Management System

You will be responsible for ensuring content is uploaded to the bids Content Management System (CMS) in the required format.

You will also work with subject matter experts to ensure relevant and current bid content is extracted and uploaded from each proposal to the CMS.
