We are looking for a strong designer with at least 3 years experience to join this professional services Sales team based in central London. We need someone who can work independently who will be predominately working on print materials, but ideally has experience of app design and production as that would sit well within the current team. Although you will be working in a design team we are looking for someone who can fit in a corporate environment.

Purpose of role:
The Bid Designer will sit within the Sales team as part of the company’s Head Office. This is a strategic role in which you will be working on high profile opportunities. The purpose of the Bid Design role is to work within all sectors in which the business has a presence, or is targeting as a new market.

The Bid Designer is tasked with the creation of engaging, innovative and effective materials to help Capita win significant market opportunities. These include presentation, submission, workshop, and dialogue materials for big ticket opportunities that are high priority deals for the Board, and tend to be upwards of £100m in value. You will be required to work to unmovable deadlines, occasionally at short notice, in order to provide expertise to deals of high strategic importance to the business.

The Bid Designer will work closely with stakeholders across a range of dynamic teams, to understand what they’re trying to communicate, often through creative facilitation techniques. They will then bring to bear their extensive graphic and information design expertise to develop multimedia collateral that combines form and function to deliver great impact and ultimately win bids. This requires marketing and communication expertise as well as design knowledge. The Bid Designer holds all of the below responsibilities;
