One of our valued clients in the Energy industry is seeking a Marketing Communications Leader for a temp to perm role.
This position is responsible for leading the design and implementation of all corporate marketing and communications programs for the company. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to business and market development; market research and planning; all aspects of internal and external communications; sales support/coordination; as well as marketing department staff leadership and oversight.

This individual will own implementation of the company’s overall brand strategy for the energy business, with leadership for all initiatives regarding the positioning, use and influence of the brand. This individual will also develop and implement lead generation efforts for all energy business products to ensure that growth targets and goals for market share are realized. Competencies:

Top 3 Responsibilities:
1. Manage the day to day operations of the energy BU Marketing department
2. Develop short and long term marketing strategies
3. Work with other departments within the company to ensure companywide communications are consistent and following company message/brand

Essential Job Functions:
• Develops and implements strategic marketing plans and forecasts to achieve business objectives for products and services.
• Creates marketing reporting function that tracks, measures and analyzes performance; provides key information to business leaders and provides input to course correction strategies and tactics.
• Develops and manages marketing operating budgets.
• Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.
• Develops and recommends product positioning to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
• Provides marketing/communications input and support to the senior leadership in the development of joint ventures, affiliations and partnership arrangements.
• Develops and implements best practices to ensure that company leaders are effective in presenting the Company BU story to clients, prospective clients, strategic partners, and media representatives.
• Responsible for asset and content development to support energy business product lines.
• Ensures effective control of marketing results, and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets.
• Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
• Monitors competitor products sand marketing activities.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
• Guides preparation of marketing activity reports and presents to executive management.
• Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
• Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
• Assists other departments within organization to prepare manuals and technical publications.
• Manages and directs staff including recruitment, selection and development to achieve company goals and objectives.
• Works with Sales managers and employees to ensure CRM is utilized effective and affectionately.
• Additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum 10 years of experience in B-to-B marketing, communications, or advertising
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in in Marketing, Communications, Engineering or Business
• Successful track record in the following:
o Results-driven, marketing communications leadership
o Digital marketing
o Process change management
o Acquisition brand integration
o Promotion of electrical products, services and solutions to the utility, commercial and industrial markets
