BI Marketing Database Analyst

Our F500 Financial Services client in SF is looking for an experienced BI Marketing Data Analyst to join their Digital Sales & Marketing Analytics* team to support the data extraction, analysis and reporting requirements on complex customer, product and Internet channel data.

The qualified candidate has had experience with Internet-specific tagging and tracking of marketing analytics, performance measurement using BI tools (Microstrategy, Tableau) and creating/managing dashboards. Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and SQL skills required.

12 month contract (40 hours/ week onsite)
San Francisco
Rate: 115K-125K

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or a quantitative discipline (e.g. Finance, Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science), self starter requiring minimal supervision
• 5+ years experience in providing analytical support to product or program managers
• Advanced experience in SQL; ability to extract and manipulate data in a large Teradata warehouse environment.
• 2+ years of experience with Internet-specific tagging and tracking methodologies and their use for direct marketing analytics
• 3+ years developing marketing performance measurement using BI tools such as MicroStrategy and Tableau.
• Demonstrated ability with performance dashboard and scorecard design and development including KPI and reporting frame refinement; advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, SQL.
• Nimbleness with output transfer from databases to reporting tools with polished formatting skills for maximum clarity and interpretation
• Skilled in working with data at varying levels of granularity and the issues inherent in building data sets across different platforms and systems of record. attitude
