B2B Content Strategist and Editor

Another exciting role with a high profile, global content marketing agency that's taking content creation to the next level.

We are looking for a mid to senior Content Strategist and Editor.

Working as an integral member of the client service team, this role will see you taking ownership over strategy and content creation for a large range of financial services and tech clients. We are looking for someone familiar with the wider digital marketing landscape, with an interest in developing strategies for a variety of consumer brands. In this role you'll demonstrate your ability to adapt to the demands of different industries along with all the challenges that each present. Your passion for delivering professional client service will see you dealing with senior clients and stakeholders, allowing you to establish solid client relationships.

What you'll take ownership over:
• Work with clients to determine how they can best use content (written / video / infographic /EDM /images/other) to meet their objectives.
• Create and manage editorial schedules and work with contributors, sub-editors and client to ensure the prompt delivery of content that meets client expectations.
• Research, commission and edit tailored online content across a variety of platforms and for an array of different clients.
• Work with your direct manager, and the Heads of Social, Strategy and Client Services as required to develop comprehensive content strategies, including all relevant documentation and implementation tactics.
• Use a range of research tools and methodologies to develop strategic roadmaps that lead to business growth.
• Have a clear understanding of how SEM and SEO strategies are developed and their importance to content planning and activation.
• Demonstrate understanding of the digital landscape: social media, content production, research & measurement, paid social strategies and emerging technologies in this space.
• Provide support for client workshops, training and briefing sessions and provide the necessary documentation to accompany the sessions.
• Work with new and existing clients to help optimise and/or create content strategies to increase content performance.
• Work with Social Media Strategists to devise content amplification strategies.
• Articulate current and emerging trends in content marketing at an executive level to all clients, demonstrating an outstanding ability to identify and enhance opportunities to engage in online content and media marketing for all clients.
• Meet regularly with the B2B team leader to discuss your clients and any individual concerns.

This is a client facing role and you'll need to demonstrate your ability to confidently & effectively present to clients.
