Automotive Sales and Service Training Manager

Our electric luxury automotive OEM client based in Costa Mesa is looking for a Full Time Sales and Service Training Manager to join their team to develop strategies, plans, and implementation of a full curriculum of education for sales and service in multiple formats, and other cutting edge learning platforms.

Responsibilities:
Develop training materials in various formats.
Measure effectiveness of training programs and report to management.
Manage LMS, input training records, and assist retail partners with LMS functionality.
Act as subject matter expert to various departments inside and out of the client.
Translate technical descriptions into useable and teachable feature/function/benefit communications for retail partners and customers
Develop and Maintain a broad curriculum of education within sales and service
Implement certification programs
Implement and maintain a learning management system (LMS)
Participate in budget planning for training projects

Qualifications:
Education: BS Degree in Automotive Technology, Education, Communications, Engineering, or Business is preferred.
3-5 Years of sales and, Engineering, or Business preferred/or service training experience, preferably with premium brands
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Significant automotive operational background
A track record of developing and delivering innovative training.
The ability to understand and translate highly technical, IT and engineering information
into a single-minded, relevant message
Resilient and adaptable. Able to maintain a consistently high level of work and
professional output in times of change
Knowledge of low volume, high end vehicles is a plus
A winning mentality - demonstrates great drive to achieve outstanding results
