The website provides content focused on the following key areas : NEWS, SPORT, MONEY (Personal and Business Finance), CARS, ENTERTAINMENT, LIFESTYLE, FOOD & DRINK, HEALTH & FITNESS

The audience engagement role is pivotal to the ongoing growth of UK site. We’re looking for an experienced digital media specialist to join the team. The key focus will be to drive growth, engagement and conversion for the UK site,

The successful candidate will be an experienced digital media, marketing or analytics professional with 3/7 years experience. They will be tasked with using their experience and knowledge along with the latest content discovery and trend analysis tools and methodology, to devise growth, conversion and engagement strategies and campaigns in partnership with Editorial leads and Product Managers. Must have strong communication skills, be brilliant at analysing data and turning ‘data-stories’ into actionable campaigns, and be comfortable in a fast moving, ever changing environment. Must have a passion for online and multimedia, trending topics, popular culture and the future of digital media with demonstrable understanding of current industry standards and techniques, changing internet technology, journalism trends and competitors.


Responsibilities

• Lead the audience engagement ‘content trends and topics’ planning initiative
• Develop strategies to deliver audience, engagement and conversion growth
• Manage, track, analyse and report on audience, engagement and commercial performance
• Help develop the content targeting of the UK homepage & Verticals
• Coordinate cross-channel initiatives as needed
• Liaison with a variety or editorial and commercial teams
• Ensure we deliver on our Consumer Proposition by synthesising data and preparing actionable insights
