Associate or Sr. Associate Marketing, Marketing Analytics - DET

Skill and Role Summary:
The Marketing Analytics role drives the analysis that informs and improves the effectiveness of the planning, execution and optimization of marketing strategy and multi channel communications. You will tie the optimization metrics to the strategic intent of campaigns and the underlying business objectives. Responsible for conducting marketing assessments and driving deliverables within the marketing strategy and planning process. Key activities include synthesizing assessment data and creating key findings and recommendations, identifying strategic marketing opportunities, and creating business cases to justify these investments.

Key Responsibility Areas Major Activities
Marketing Assessment • Develop assessment frameworks and pull insights from assessment into key findings document
• Synthesize and analyze various data sources (primary, secondary, digital, and media) marketing to develop key findings and recommendations
• Create financial models for business strategy leveraging program parameters, competitive data, benchmarks, and informed assumptions to drive financial model
• Analyze marketing spend across channels (clients vs. competitors) and spend by channel vs. target audience usage of channels
• Identify appropriate competitive set and evaluation criteria and shape competitive assessment. Surface key insights and opportunities
Marketing Strategy & Planning • Identify and create key deliverables within marketing strategy & planning process, including:
o Pilot Program Development
o Customer Segmentation Strategy
o Sales / Marketing Lifecycle Development
o Concept Modeling
o Web/Domain Strategy
o E-commerce/POS/Pop Strategy
o Marketing Strategy
o CRM Strategy
• Identify best practices and recommendations from marketing assessment findings to help client address key business and marketing challenges
• Play active role in client workshops, working sessions and deliverable presentations

Website Analytics Lead for a Brand
Deliverables Examples:
- Daily, Weekly, Monthly and ad-hoc brand reporting and analysis
- Tracking implementation requirements/validation
- Tie activities from site side to OLA
Skill Examples:
- Reporting, Analysis, Recommendations, Client Presentations, Tracking Requirements & Validation

Requirements:
- 3+ years professional level related online experience
- Self-motivated, team players looking to further their career in the field of statistical and marketing analysis
- This position relies heavily on strong organizational and communications skills
- Proficient in multiple tools such as social media tools (Radian 6, etc), web analytic tools (Webtrwnds, Omniture, etc), media tools (Neilsen, etc)
- Be strong SQL, SAS, or SPSS user
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
