Associate Retail Marketing Manager

Company seeks temporary Associate Retail Marketing Manager to execute marketing efforts with assigned retail accounts. The Associate Retail Marketing Manager must be able to efficiently balance the complex requirements of large regional chains, while handling the demands of smaller assigned local outlets. The Associate Retail Marketing Manager will act as the liaison to assigned accounts as well as various departments to successfully support the account and customer needs. 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Partner with key contacts from assigned retail accounts in development of co-marketing campaigns 
• Create retail-able materials and solutions for all product lines carried by assigned accounts 
• Develop promotions and campaigns in conjunction with retail partners - including design and implementation 
• Partner in event coordination with assigned accounts, Sales and Marketing teams 
• Coordinate and work closely with accounts, Design Operations and print production external teams on in-store POP to support new product launches and promotions 
• Sets up presentations in mock retail environments and helps develop product launch activation based on accounts, environments and fixture programs 
• Provides input to marketing as it relates to the direction and the point of view of sales and assigned customers. 

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities) 
• Thorough understanding of retail channel marketing environment 
• Development of strategic direction and execution of plan 
• Ability to work directly with external agencies 
• Ability to develop a project plan and drive plan to completion with inputs from various departments/external agencies 
• Must be self-motivated and be able to demonstrate initiative and work with limited supervision 
• Intermediate computer proficiency (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, various social media platforms and Basecamp, project management software) 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 
• Bachelor’s degree in related field 
• Minimum 4 years related experience in retail marketing with a proven track record 
• Account management experience required 
• Consumer product background preferred 
• Merchandising experience preferred 
• Sporting goods knowledge a plus!
