Associate Researcher -Digital & Channel Research

AQUENT is seeking for an Associate Research to support the Digital & Channel Research department in eCommerce. The Associate Digital Researcher is for tactical research activities and will participate in client-driven quantitative research studies.

Expected contributions include:
• Support research activities for mobile product, responsive design, and web development projects as well as support traditional research methodologies research efforts
• Represent Marriott International with industry defining customer service.
• Research Panel Management, including incentive management and fulfillment of requests for panel research
• Manage monthly tracking studies
• Data management of ongoing quant surveys (weekly data pulls and data manipulation), including verbatim responses.
• My Marriott Voice (MMV) monthly internal newsletter
• Conducting MMV Quick Polls
• Prioritize needs and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
• Identify and work toward resolution of any project issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Energized by teamwork, brainstorming sessions and presenting to clients

REQUIRED:
 Excellent written and oral communication skills
 Successfully manage multiple activities in a dynamic environment
 Strong project management skills
 Has knowledge of quantitative survey methods
 Desire to build competency with additional or new research methodologies
 Ability to creatively solve problems due to cost, space or schedule constraints
 Demonstrated organization skills
 Desire to build a career in research
 Competitive personality able to put the “team” first


PREFERRED:
 Some experience or understanding of research methodologies
 Background in experimental methodology
 Experience with adaptive/responsive design
 Flexibility in approach to problem-solving and creative thinking

EDUCATION:
 Bachelor's degree in Human Factors Psychology, Instructional Design, Marketing or Business. Consideration will be given to applicants on track for graduation
 Demonstrated experience with user-centered design principles and practices
 Demonstrated experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods
 Ability to contribute meaningful content to processes and systems created with the practice
