Our fantastic forward-thinking Fortune 500 client who offers world-class Charge and Credit Cards, Rewards, as well as Business Travel is in need of a skilled contract/freelance Associate Product Marketing Manager. This role is onsite in NYC, financial district, 40 hours a week for 9 months (until November 2017) with an opportunity to extend into 2018.

Global Commercial Payments (GCP) - a leading issuer of global commercial payment solutions to small, medium and large businesses – is the center of excellence and global product owner for B2B central pay and non-card products. This team is focused on creating products and services that can deliver value between buyers and sellers, addressing their needs such as working capital, purchase order reconciliation, program control and compliance, and longer-term capital expenditures.

As Associate Product Marketing Manager, will support the Business Travel Account (BTA) Product Management team to refine and implement the Travel Management Company (TMC) partnership strategy. This role will be responsible for driving awareness and adoption of the enhanced BTA, including an engagement and communications strategy. Meaningful adoption by both global and local market TMCs will drive BTA growth and support competitive advantage as a leading T&E solution, in addition to delivering next-generation products.

Responsibilities:
• Manage a portfolio of Travel Management (TMC) to introduce and drive adoption of the enhanced Business Travel Account (BTA) central bill product. But first, you will develop a knowledge base for each TMC and how they operate as it relates to central bill products.
• Then you will be able to understand any challenges the client may have in supporting the BTA in order to develop the strategy to overcome those challenges and as it relates to other corporate products.
• Create a communication strategy and vehicle to raise awareness and support throughout the TMC community e.g. leadership, sales, client management, operations, and technology.
• Develop relationships with TMCs and facilitate implementation of the enhanced BTA.
• Partner with the Client Management and/or Sales team for prospective or existing clients supported by the portfolio of TMCs.

Qualifications:
• Must Have: experience working within the Corporate Travel Industry (Travel Management Companies, Online Booking Tools, GDS etc.)
• Experience in partnership strategy and partner management
• Thought leadership and influencing skills to encourage entrenched travel industry to pioneer innovative solutions
• Strong problem solving skills coupled with ability to deliver results in dynamic and complex environment
• Strong communication (written and verbal), presenting to senior audiences, stakeholders, partners and customers
