Associate Product Marketing

We are looking for an Associate Product Marketing Manager, located in Columbus, OH. This position will help support key programs within our client's Specialized Solutions product portfolio, ensuring we are developing the best programs for the market by employing market research, customer segmentation, Voice of the Customer, product portfolio management, competitive positioning, market assessment, pricing, and new product development across assigned product lines.

In your role as Associate Product Marketing Manager you will work as part of a product team from product concept through development, market launch, and through the product lifecycle

• Support the efforts of the Product Marketing Manager(s)

• Collaborate within marketing, and with sales and product development to bring the voice of the customer to everything you do

• Bring insightful questions that challenge the status quo as you assist the product teamReview and translate insightful, comprehensive market research to understand the needs of the market and turn them into product requirements

• Collaborate with sales and a variety of marketing functions to drive revenue through strategic market planning and execution

Responsibilities Include:

• Market research

• Competitive analysis

• Manage the development of sales ready deliverables, such as:

o Marketing websites/content

o Brochures

o Sample packages

o Sales presentations

o Catalog content

o Event support (conferences, author events, symposiums, etc.)

o Sales tools

• Supporting efforts around the development of messaging, positioning

• Sales Support and Training

Qualification Requirements:

The Associate Product Marketing Manager must be proactive, results-driven and detail-oriented, and able to deliver results in a fast-paced environment. This person must have strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. This individual will be a collaborative team player.

• Effective communicator in both written and verbal forms

• Tech experience

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field

• 3+ years of experience in a strategic marketing function

• Exposure to segmentation, positioning, pricing, and new product development practices preferred
