Associate Producer

The Associate Producer plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of a website and ensures that production milestones are met in a timely manner. This person is responsible for asset sourcing, interfacing with development teams to coordinate and track the production process, and providing progress reports to management. This person also supervises QA testing and website deployment. The Associate Producer must have the ability to manage the execution of a project from beginning to end. The Associate Producer must be detailed-oriented and have the people skills to manage numerous members of various teams. The Associate Producer must also interface efficiently and effectively with Marketing/Brand representatives to achieve website goals and requirements. Finally, the Associate Producer must be able to devise solutions for issues that may arise during the production process.

KEY RESULTS AREAS 1. Assists with leading cross-functional team through development of website content 2. Creates project schedule and manages team to deliver on time, under direction of producer 3. Ensures daily adherence to established budgets for assigned projects 4. Tracks and reports key performance indicators and measurements of success for assigned projects 5. Manages Collector community relations via forums moderation, interface with forum moderators, etc.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Create and maintain production schedules - Create and maintain information architecture - Manage asset and information flow to and from various internal teams and outside vendors/contractors (i.e. agencies/design firms, illustrators, programmers, voice talent, etc.) - Assist in the management of design, programming and QA teams throughout the production process - Obtain legal clearances - Manage the QA process - Community moderation and relations/interface (via forums, social media channels, etc.) - Prepare traffic and usage reports as-needed - Coordinate contract executions with outside vendors - Coordinate approval of invoices for outside vendors - Research competitive websites and write analysis reports

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS REQUIRED -Minimum 4 years of work experience - Must have 2+ years experience of website (or similar) project management -Strong skills in using project management software including Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Word as well as online collaboration tools (i.e. ActiveCollab) - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Knowledge of Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, HTML. Working knowledge and experience with Photoshop and HTML code is a plus. - Knowledge of latest web advancements and technologies - Skilled in technical problem solving - Social Media and/or bulletin board/forum moderation experience
