Position Summary
As part of the team supporting a new e-commerce business a part of Disney Interactive Family, you will be responsible for working with third parties to develop and program engaging product descriptions and art. You will have day to day responsibility for data flow related to our content management system (CMS), and working with product and marketing teams. You will also be responsible for supporting day to day coordination of fulfillment of products sourced.

The Associate Producer will work closely with Business Development, Marketing, Programming, Creative, Tech, and QA teams in scheduling, resource management, budgeting and planning. He or she will manage the site production process for assigned projects from pre-production through development, QA, launch and post-launch updates. The Associate Producer is also be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of existing sites—helping produce content updates and troubleshooting efforts.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily interaction with an internal staff of designers and developers to complete daily production tasks on time and on budget
Maintaining development schedules
Managing the flow of assets and information between teams and team members
Obtaining legal, editorial and management approvals as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
A college degree or equivalent work experience with website, digital or entertainment production and development
1-3 years of experience in website production required; working with children’s or branded content or e-commerce retail experience preferred
Ability to work closely with other producers artists, content developers, engineers, QA testers, and webmasters on day-to-day production; established people skills
Ability to create and maintain accurate schedules
Ability to use online traffic tracking tools to report and help interpret data for editorial decision making
Familiarity with project management tools, e.g. Microsoft Project and Visio
Established presentation skills and familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint
Understanding of Brand development
Understanding of (and passion for) the Disney Brand extremely helpful
Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines
Proficiency with managing external developers and contractors
Ability to analyze and provide solutions to complex technical problems
