Associate Producer (1-3yrs exp)

The Associate Producer will manage Catalog production for Music, Games and Books. This will include coordination with multiply divisions to schedule updates to the catalogs.

The Associate Producer is responsible for brainstorming, posting and updating the content within the content management system. Additionally, the AP will work with the team, the department and Disney divisions to gain understanding of priorities for the site and to carry those out with their section.

The Associate Producer will be required to play a key role in ensuring site features are produced on time and with accuracy.


The Associate Producer is responsible for schedules, CMS production, and stakeholder communication for multiple catalog sites. Working closely with the Senior Producer, the Associate Producer will also help define regular production work flow and work closely with the development teams, and business owners.

This role requires independent thought, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the foresight to involve team leaders to help resolve difficult problems as they arise. The Associate Producer must be adept at working through the challenges of managing multiple projects at one time and managing the communication with all stakeholders. The Associate Producer must also be able to demonstrate the regular and sustained ability to operate in a high-intensity environment with minimal supervision on a day-to-day basis. This individual should be able to make confident and intelligent decisions that reflect a solid understanding of the business goals and strategies, while also maintaining the integrity and quality of the products for which they are responsible.


A list of responsibilities includes:
Managing ongoing maintenance and site updates for catalogs
Communicating with stakeholders
Defining and driving update schedules
Obtaining necessary legal clearances
Obtaining management approvals for work in progress
Presenting concepts, strategy, and progress to team leaders


College degree or equivalent
1-3 years website production
Established communication, people, presentation and organizational skills
Knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools
Ability to develop project schedules and projections
Strong ability to set objectives, prioritize and organize tasks and assign resources
Demonstrated technical, creative and professional expertise with a deep commitment to quality and attention to detail
A creative background in the entertainment industry
