Associate Paid Search Specialist

The Specialist Paid Search – is responsible for leading and managing a team of Paid Search practitioners across paid search activities. The role will include the development and presentation of client recommendations, creation and launching of campaigns, campaign optimization, as well as auditing the performance of campaigns and team members. The person in this role needs to be willing and able to educate and train Paid Search practitioners on the day-to-day responsibilities of paid search management. Most importantly, they need to be able to inspire direct reports and others about paid search, and have the experience and ability to troubleshoot campaign issues. This candidate is a future search marketing leader who has already achieved the tactical and client facing skills, and is ready to scale their abilities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can manage all detailed aspects of client's day-to-day paid search campaign activities. The candidate should have deep interest in search marketing, and a willingness to learn how to perform all the standard duties necessary to manage paid search accounts. Strong interest in search marketing, curiosity, analytical acuity, Excel skills, and an interest in creating commerce connections is required, along with the ability to work well with others and possessing solid communication skills. This is a temp to perm full-time position located in King of Prussia, PA. This position may require some travel for client business or industry trainings.

Duties:
• Execute paid search engine marketing tactics for one or more clients
• Become certified and proficient within 90 days of hire in the use of Kenshoo Enterprise and Google Adwords (if not already)
• Become proficient with Kenshoo Local, and Kenshoo Social, and Bing AdCenter
• Master the use of Kenshoo Enterprise, Kenshoo Social, and Kenshoo Local, Google AdWords, and Bing AdCenter and ensure mastery exists across your team
• Mentor and lead paid search practitioners in the day-to-day development, creation, launch and optimization of search campaigns across multiple clients
• Train and develop paid search practitioners on best practices and emerging trends
• Lead the presentation of relevant search campaigns and strategies for one or more clients
• Author, investigate and provide competitive research, summary and analysis relevant to the search industry and upon client request
• Manage the creation and day to day oversight of search campaigns for one or more clients
• Optimize bids, adcopy, and landing pages to drive top-line revenue and bottom-line margin
• Monitor & adjust spend in real-time, 24/7 keyword auction to stay within budget
• Report & analyze program performance and present to management
• Collaborate with Client Services on the creation and delivery of campaign overview and analysis
• Collaborate with Finance team to manage IOs, reconciliation and billing
• Maintain and understand user behavior, trends, and activity as it relates to search marketing
• Conduct ongoing assessment of best practices and provide input for continued process improvement, customer service and client satisfaction
• Research keywords
• Write and test ad copy to drive highest CTR and conversion rate
• Build Excel-based reports using pivot tables and v-lookup skills
• Run A/B split tests for landing pages, products, and ad copy
• Work closely with vendors and media companies including Google, Yahoo, and Microsoft
• Keep current in latest trends in online marketing and test new offerings/technologies where appropriate
• Collaborate with cross-channel partners
