Associate Media Planner and Inventory Analyst

One of our most exciting Entertainment Clients is looking for a well-organized and efficient Associate Media Planner/Inventory Analyst to support the sales team with responses to requests for proposals (RFPs). This position is responsible for following the sales cycle from proposal to contract execution by managing all the elements of the plan, revisions, specifications, and entry into agency templates or systems. The position will work closely with both the Media Planning and Inventory teams to help secure, reserve and assess revenue at risk due to inventory allocations. Frequently this person will have to prioritize tasks and work on several projects simultaneously. To be successful, this person must thrive in a fast paced environment and be resourceful, creative, detail oriented and capable of juggling multiple projects with limited supervision.

Responsibilities:

· Creating digital small to mid-market media plans in support of advertiser and agency goals, as well as in accordance with the objectives and strategies communicated by senior leaders in Finance and Sales Management.
· Serving as a liaison between the Sales, Ad Solutions, Operations and Finance teams by elevating client requests to the appropriate parties.
· Working daily requests to reserve and approve inventory in DoubleClick
· Maintaining a working knowledge of all Disney digital properties and ad products (Online, Mobile, Video, and Gaming)
· Working internally to ensure the proper set up and entry of media plans into Double Click Sales Manager and third-party ad systems.
· Assessing the Inventory landscape and escalating under-delivery risks to the sales team
· Obtaining appropriate approvals for media plans that fall outside the standard parameters.
· Managing pre-sale process from creating proposals to Insertion Order execution, including checking, requesting signatures and booking IO’s as well as reviewing booked campaigns for pacing issues to make adjustments to retain revenue.
· Completing agency templates for RFP submissions.
· Partnering with (Sr.) Media Planners to provide enhanced service to strategic accounts.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree Required
· 1 - 3 years of experience in a digital sales or agency environment working in a data driven department such as Inventory Management, Business Analyst, Associate Media Planner.
· In-depth understanding of interactive marketing, digital media proposals and delivery metrics with the ability to manipulate large data sets and provide insight with clear communication to peoplenot immersed in the details
· Identify trends, and provide recommendations when appropriate.
· Proficient with MS Excel including conditional formatting, pivot tables and light formulas.
· Working knowledge required for a variety of 3rd party software systems and the reports generated including: Omniture, Atlas, DoubleClick Suite for Publishers (DSM/DFP), SalesForce, Microstrategy
· Working knowledge required for rich media vendors: PointRoll, Unicast, Eyeblaster, Eyewonder, etc.
· Experience working with all buying models including: CPM, CPC, PPV, CPV, and CPA
