Associate Marketing Manager (Product Development)

Vitamin T is assisting our well-known food manufacturer client in their search for an Assistant Marketing Manager for their Product Innovation team. This is a long term contract opportunity.

Responsibilities include:
• Develop task level timelines to manage multiple product launch projects for NA business unit
• Manage bi-weekly cross functional team meetings to review projects
• Create and distribute agenda
• Manage the discussion to ensure efficient review of relevant tasks and status by project
• Issue meeting recaps with follow ups assigned to team members
• Follow up with cross-functional team members between meetings to confirm key task completions and update timelines
• Communicate impact to projects based on updates to information
• Share with cross functional team to problem solve
• Communicate to key category contact
• Provide weekly (maybe bi-weekly) posting to category leads on any newsworthy project impacts

Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum Experience: 3+ years
• Experience working with marketing new product launches
• CPG experience required. Food & Beverage experience preferred.
• Able to manage multiple (and often accelerated) projects simultaneously
• Skilled in leading team members and giving clear direction
• Familiarity/base level knowledge of FDM market is helpful
• Ability to manage timelines in Microsoft Project or willingness to learn
• Prior project management experience a plus
