Associate Marketing Manager (Financial Industry experience required)

As part of Alternative Investments business, support marketing strategy and communications for the alternative investment business, Hedge Fund Solutions (Fund of Funds platform) for a major Financial / Investment Client. .

The Fund of Fund’s business is a relatively new platform providing alternative investments such as long/short equity and multi-strategy capabilities. Both platforms target the firm's Wealth Management Financial Advisors.

Primary responsibilities:

• Work with Director of Private Client Alternative Investments and sales to help drive promotional campaigns focused on asset growth and retention, with an emphasis on value-added and educational pieces and campaigns.
• Project manage updates of monthly and quarterly marketing collateral, including presentations, fact sheets, and brochures.
• Manage all legal client communications within strict deadlines (manage content creation with A&Q, manage approval process with WMA Communications & manage distribution of communication through mailing vendors).
• Manage legal review process of all materials through: A&Q Legal, WM US Product Principal 24s, FINRA (where needed)
• Partner with Alternative Investments Specialist to distribute important updates to the Global AM Wholesale Team.
• Work with Senior Content Management Specialist in ensuring all web platforms are current and reflect firm’s messaging; serve as back-up web content manager.
• Manage marketing budget for programs, while assessing opportunities for streamlining, eliminating redundancies and reducing costs while maintaining quality
• Collaborate with A&Q Hedge Fund Solutions Group in aligning marketing initiatives and communications to ensure consistency across firms and to partner with them for major campaigns.

Requirements:
• Relevant experience (including financial / investment) 5-8 years. (Alternative investments preferred if possible)
• Strong writing and project management skills (fast-paced, tight timelines, deadline-centric)
• Strong relationship management, communication and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of legal requirements
• Proactive, idea generator
• Team player with a can-do attitude with strength in client management (external and internal clients)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and broaden skill set as role demands.

*Alternatives/Hedge Fund/Private Equity experience would be ideal.
