Associate Marketing Manager

We are looking for an Associate Marketing Manager to join the Digital Marketing team for one of our Fortune 500 clients located in Northbrook, IL. The below is an older job description but gives a good idea of what this person will be working on but please keep in mind it may change slightly. This is a 6 month contract with intention to go perm if it is the right fit for both the client and talent.

The hiring manager is very well versed in the company's needs and is looking for someone with really solid presentation skills and a stellar marketing background ? preferably someone with Corporate experience managing multiple 3rd party vendors and marketing initiatives that support their Field sales team.

I. Background

Our client recently purchased a technology solution that aims to increase the relevancy of leads generated to improve the overall efficiency of the agency prospecting and acquisition process.

II. Objectives and Scope of this position

Associate Marketing Manager will report to the Digital Marketing Manager and will provide advisory guidance and execution support to enhance the current program that supports regional sales teams, and drive the successful phases and adoption of the new Lead Management platform across agencies nationwide.

III. Tasks to be Performed

- Manage the execution of the new Lead Generation marketing program to drive awareness of project rollout and ensure best possible adoption/outcome with Field Sales.
- Update key stakeholders on launch progress and key milestones (conduct status calls, develop communications through visual presentations, metrics reports, etc.), including coordination with key stakeholder groups (Leadership, Agency Sales, Regional Marketing, Field, IT, etc.). Some limited coordination with external supplier relationships may be necessary (Acxiom, lead aggregators, lead management software firms, etc.). This person will manage pulling the metrics from the 3rd party vendor.
- Support Regional Marketing to be an advocate to the field and agencies on the ?new? lead management process. Assist with development and administration of regional webinars and training opportunities as needed. The program was initially launched in March so this candidate will need to evaluate the remaining phases and to-dos.
- Execution of documented launch communication plan ? although most communication templates have been completed, assume some development of business communications will be required (key leadership messages, memos, diagrams, etc), proof/edit content and materials, steward legal approvals, etc.
- Coordination of identified key risks and mitigation plans to limit the size and impact of any issues related to the launch. Refine issue escalation process as required.
- Finalize lead management monitoring capabilities (launch success, lead performance, and external supplier performance). Implement scorecard and governance process. The best candidate needs to have experience with surveys (creating or interpreting). The survey may be generated in another internal department, but understanding them is key to touting the program benefits to the Field.
- Onboarding of additional lead sources into lead pipeline in Q3 and Q4 ? coordinate technical integration efforts and other project management related deliverables

V. Client Team Structure

Associate Marketing Manager will report to the Digital Marketing Manager and also work with the Project Manager on the team who is working on some other corporate marketing initiatives.
