Provide assistance with marketing and product development activities for assigned business segment or product line in order to achieve financial growth and profit targets.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Mange day-to-day line development for products with the cross-functional team (including customized and int'l only products) to achieve goals and manage to key milestones
Assist with the execution of business plans for assigned brand
Collect, analyze, and summarize data in support of brand development
Collaborate with global subsidiaries to address global needs and market feedback; support global information needs
Communicate franchise/brand and marketing strategies with stakeholders and the cross-functional team
Assist in the execution of global brand-building activities and development of global marketing tools, including brand and product advertising, and development of content with internal and external groups
Build cross-functional relationships
Assist with line documentation (line lists, merchandising outlines, etc.)
Ensure consistency across the franchise/brand

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

General understanding of the business objectives related to marketing/branding
Demonstrated understanding of standard marketing techniques
Basic understanding of research methodologies and when they are used
analytical skills, proficient in data analysis, PowerPoint presentation development, marketing and branding experience with a Consumer Products.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS REQUIRED:

Minimum 4 years (2 years with MBA) experience in consumer or brand marketing
Thorough understanding of standard marketing techniques
Demonstrated strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Excellent written/verbal, time management and quantitative/analytical skills required
Experience with product development strongly preferred
Experience on brand analysis, brand marketing, trade marketing, with a consumer packaged goods company or advertising/sales experience with a small boutique marketing firm.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

Proven ability to drive change and results through influential leadership skills
Demonstrated strong facilitation skills and ability to identify common ground amongst individuals with divergent opinions and perspectives
Presentation skills preferred
Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
Demonstrated positive attitude, sees challenges as opportunities and translates them into actionable items

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field; MBA preferred
