Associate Marketing Communications Manager, Broadcast Development

The Associate Manager, Global Marketing Communications position is responsible for leading the strategy and execution of global creative assets for assigned brand. While this position has a heavy emphasis on leading all broadcast development, they will work hand-in-hand with the integrated team to ensure all work is supportive and synergistic with overall brand platform. This position is responsible for managing client relationships and for leading internal and external communication for all aspects of creative development and production. They will partner with their Creative and Production counterparts to deliver thought leadership and breakthrough creative.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Strong ability to understand brand objectives and strategies and how broadcast production will help achieve business goals.
• Maintain deep understanding and knowledge of kid space, in and outside competitive television, and providing inspiration and guidance to team.
• Work closely with brand and product marketing teams to develop focused and clear creative briefs, including all necessary deliverables, deadlines and requirements.
• Manage both client and agency relationship to ensure consistent high quality work is being delivered on time and on budget.
• Work with Broadcast Producer to manage overall project budgets, including securing approval on estimates and change orders.
• Work with Product Marketing team on product procurement for shoots and legal review.
• Manage and facilitate all client feedback on creative rounds and issuing formal conference reports to internal team and clients.
• Work with Standards & Practices and Legal throughout key stages in the development process to ensure all CARU guidelines are met.
• Work with CI on Ad Testing timing and deliverables; attend diagnostic research, as needed.
• Work with Broadcast Producer to manage materials and information dissemination to agency, including updating the Commercial Tracker with the other Account Managers/Producers.

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• Extensive Broadcast production experience, including Kid-Targeted Toy Advertising
• Excellent project and time management, written/verbal communication and leadership skills
• Brand marketing/brand strategy knowledge

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• 4 + years of advertising/marketing or related experience

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
• Proven ability to manage heavy workload with precision and grace under pressure
• Demonstrate strong facilitation skills and ability to identify common ground amongst individuals with divergent opinions and perspectives
• Demonstrate strong presentation skills with a persuasive nature
• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
• Team player and collaborator
• Demonstrate positive attitude, sees challenges as opportunities and translates them into actionable items
• Must be adept at managing internal and cross functional teams
• Must be willing to travel

EDUCATION REQUIRED:
• Bachelor's degree required in marketing, business or related field
