Associate Manager, Corporate Communications

Reports to PR Manager and is responsible for supporting Investor Relations communications and executive business press programs.
To be considered, must have: Prior communications/PR for Investor Relations

Collaborates with Investor Relations and Corporate Marketing on corporate communication plan and key messages; and ensures integration and consistency of messages.

Investor Relations:
Creates investment messages in collaboration with Investor Relations stakeholders.
Provides IR speaker preparation and presentation support, in collaboration with the Investor Relations lead.
Prepares conference call scripts, earnings presentations and practice questions (with answers when needed).
Prepares, seeks approval and distributes all Investor Relations related press releases (including Quarterly Earnings Announcements).
Updates content for the Investor Relations section of company web site.
Collaborates on and assists with IR special events.

Business Press:
Supports planning and logistics for CEO press tour(s).
In collaboration with PR agency and PR Manager, supports creation of proactive pitches with mainstream business publications & mass media outlets.
Manages B-Roll distribution.
Supports quarterly media update calls, timed directly after earnings announcements.
In collaboration with agency resource(s), supports creation of company headquarter VIP tour

Experience, Skillsets and Knowledge Required:
More than five years of experience in corporate communications (with a focus on investor relations communications and business press programs) for a public company.
Strong oral and written communication skills and comfort engaging all levels of management (prior engagement with C-level management required).
A solid familiarity with financial and investment markets.
Sound judgment and discretion in interactions.
A robust understanding and appreciation of corporate communication best practices.
Strong interpersonal skills – energetic, efficient and resourceful team player and individual contributor.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
Ability to multi-task under tight time constraints.

Required Educational Background:
B.A./B.S in Journalism or Business Administration
