Want to work in one of the fastest growing and most innovative businesses in Seattle? Interested in working in a high impact role? We are looking for a smart, motivated, driven individual to join the Planning/In-stock team and help define the course of revolutionary e-reader devices.

This team oversees buying and management of worldwide e-reader device inventory for our team, playing a critical role helping the company build, manage and optimize a complex supply chain. The In-stock team is responsible for ensuring all inventory systems and processes are meeting the needs of the business and it's customers. As we grow the business, accurate inventory planning is critical to serving our customers. We need to have the product customers want, when they want it.

Responsibilities:
• Defining, measuring, executing on an inventory plan and availability business goals of the group.
• Improve visibility of inventory and planning decisions by designing appropriate reporting and communicate our in-stock plan to partners in finance, supply chain and customer service.
• Driving improvement in inventory availability, increasing inventory efficiency and ensuring that the company makes efficient supply chain decisions.
• Planning purchasing and allocation decisions in conjunction with the larger team.
• Driving improvements to inventory management processes over time, including identifying buying systems improvements and improving overall supply chain efficiency.

Basic Qualifications
The right candidate is fearless but thoughtful in the pursuit of results and thrives in a high energy environment where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel.

• Degree in Business, Engineering or a Supply Chain/Operations discipline
• 4+ years supply chain, inventory management, retail and/or project management experience
• Experience working with IT professionals and process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
• Strong analytical abilities, and high proficiency creating and managing advanced models
• Able to prioritize in complex, ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
