Associate Email Marketing Specialist

In this role, the Email Marketing Manager is responsible for the execution of this client's email engagement programs. These programs are designed specifically to send the right message, to the right individual at the right time, to enhance their experience with Firefox products, based upon their preferences, interests and interactions with us. 

As an Email Marketing Manager at Mozilla, you will… 

  • Ensure the success of email programs in key product languages 
  • Manage the creative copy and visual direction for the personalized user journeys based on email channel best practices and data-driven optimization 
  • Create and implement HTML 
  • Conduct A/B testing 
  • Measure the impact and success of the email programs through the monitoring of key metrics (in collaboration with the Metrics team) 
  • Collaborate with Lifecycle Marketing and Project Teams to identify opportunities to improve email KPIs and test hypotheses 
  • Identify and prioritize email engagement programs with the most potential ROI 


The Ideal Candidate:

  • 1-2 years of experience in email marketing ideally with a consumer-facing brand 
  • Strong knowledge of email best practices: including deliverability, a/b testing, dynamic content, responsive HTML design 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Clear understanding of email deliverability practices 
  • Passion for metrics and data analysis 
  • Experience operating (ExactTarget) Salesforce Marketing Cloud a plus 
  • Proficiency in SQL or ExactTarget’s AMPscript is a plus 

Qualifications: 

  • Experience with: coding, QA-ing, mass email experience, sending and optimizing email campaigns in 
  • 1-2 years of experience. 
  • Experience coding (not a whole lot of scratch to HTML) e able to look at HTMl and not flip out and identify errors 
  • Comfort with HTML. 
  • Someone who has done email and is interested in email: sent mass campaigns 
  • Experience with split testing.
