Associate Director of Marketing

prepare and review disease opportunity assessments with management to inform research and early development portfolio go/no-go decisions
provide global strategic guidance and business inputs into the development of Target Product Profiles and Clinical Development Plans for pipeline molecules
direct the development of global business cases and revenue forecasts and jointly defend these with Market Planning colleagues at management reviews
lead commercial strategies for pipeline molecules
make significant contributions to Immunology, Infectious Diseases, or Ophthalmology pipeline strategy, oversee multiple pipeline products, and demonstrate the ability to integrate functional expertise with business knowledge to propose solutions in complex cross-functional teams
provide business input and strategic guidance to Partnering


Incumbents are fully accountable for compliance with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of client activities, expected to monitor adherence to company policies and guidelines, and act according to established procedures to ensure all issues are addressed and resolved as required.
Skills
Demonstrated ability to lead development and execution of complex plans across multiple priorities
Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts and ambiguity to drive clarity and deliver results
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple global and Affiliate functional and project team leaders
Demonstrated understanding of Immunology, Ophthalmology, or Infectious Diseases is preferred
Previous experience in leading the development and implementation of product development or commercial strategy
Previous experience with and knowledge of the drug development process (pre-clinical and Phase I–III)

MBA or other related graduate-level degree is preferred (Master's or Doctoral degree in a life sciences field is a plus)
