Associate Director Strategy (CRM)

Our agency client is searching for a Strategist focused in the CRM space, who is all about finding avenues for our clients to attract and engage with their customers. In this role you will design, and manage CRM activity emphasizing these programs; email, web sites and mobile applications. You work cross-functionally with partners in interaction, creative, and tech to identify opportunities and create segmentation plans, and strategies.

The perfect candidate will be both analytical but also be able to sympathize with an average customer experience. You'll have to understand the stats, and brand strategy side in order to succeed in this role.

Primary responsibilities:

 Help identify the best target customers to build a business, through customer & data analysis and segmentation

 Develop insights that inspire effective solutions across one-to- one communications, website

and mobile interactions, as well as improvements in paid and earned media

 Develop measurement plans and manage reporting that supports clients’ overall marketing strategy and business objectives

 Contribute to personalization strategies and optimization recommendations that drive on-

going improvements and help to ensure that each interaction with a brand is increasingly relevant and effective

 Collaborate with internal teams to build strong client relationships and identify additional

opportunities to support clients’ business


 5-7 years relevant experience

 Experienced in creating multi-channel efforts that leverage client’s databases

 Strong understanding of digital marketing, websites, mobile, media tracking & analytics

 Skilled in data interpretation, with a knack for identifying and testing campaign variables

to drive on-going improvements

 Proven ability to craft measurement plans that tie back to key business outcomes.

Effectively collaborates with analysts and data scientists to produce actionable reports.

 Technical proficiency with data and analytics platforms (e.g. Adobe, Google Analytics,

ESP platforms, etc.)

 Comfortable with CRM platforms (e.g. Exact Target, Sales Force)

 Experience with syndicated research tools (Simmons, MRI, etc.) a plus

 story telling ability, when it comes to a brand's journey and how that relates to the customer
