Associate Digital Project Manager

Our client, one of the biggest names in consumer electronics, is looking for an Associate Digital Producer/Project Manager of eCommerce for a 6 month contract in Culver City, CA. This is a junior level position responsible for supporting all levels of Production on digital eCommerce engagement and reporting to the Sr. Manager of eCommerce.

This role will assist in the scheduling and management of content for eCommerce; tracking and communicating cross-functional deliverables; drives issue resolution and communications related to site environments, systems, functionality and tools. They should work with a sense of urgency (without panic) to deliver consistently.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage trafficking and organization of production (creative and/or technology) assets.
• Support day-to-day communications with internal team (coordinates meetings, notes, status reports, task lists, etc.)
• Attend production meetings, record and communicate action items and manage resources to ensure follow-up and completion.
• Partner with team members to define the scope of projects (goals, deliverables, schedule and budget).
• Create detailed implementation schedules for projects and validate/communicate to project teams.
• Coordinate project activities from various business partners including site merchandising, marketing, brand design, engineers, QA, and 3rd party vendors.
• Ensure project is launched on time and meets initial project requirements. Keep team senior stakeholders notified of progress and/or deviation from project schedule (deliverables, milestone dates, resources, etc.).
• Effectively facilitate the review and final sign-off of content; documents feedback and manages changes.
• Manage scope change or project schedule in an effective manner. Create and communicate to production team members issue status, creative and code release dates.
• Document, maintain, and communicate content delivery schedule.
• Assist senior stakeholders to assess all processes and looks for areas of improvement in website work flow.
• Work with team members of functional areas such as marketing, site merchandising, design, engineering, product.
• Experience scoping proposals, RFP’s, with development of project plans, schedules, staffing and budgets

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 2-3 years of digital agency or creative project management or related online experience
• Strong knowledge of web and mobile development technologies, including e-commerce, content management systems, search marketing, analytics and quality assurance
• Demonstrated understanding of digital production and release processes, including direct experience with digital tools and technologies.
• Strong communication, time management and organization skills.
• Superior oral / written communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated. Ability to work well independently and within a multi-functional, team.
• Proficiency Mac and Mac software - Keynote, MS Office software, Scheduling software - Omniplan, Fasttrack or similar.
• Strong problem solving skills; responsive and flexible to evolving responsibilities and changing environments.
