Associate Digital Creative Director

Seeking a talented Associate Creative Director to join our Global Content team. This individual will play a key leadership role, helping to establish and manage the overall design direction for global digital experiences, including content creation.

Creating a compelling digital experience often requires us to generate unique photo and video assets to demonstrate the benefits of products. Under the supervision of the Creative Director and partnered with a Senior Producer, this individual will lead and manage all creative, technical and logistical aspects of video/photo shoots for use on the web and in traditional non-broadcast mediums (e.g. Marketing collateral, trade shows, etc.), including managing stakeholder buy-in and ongoing stakeholder communications.

Additionally, the ACD will build and lead a multi-disciplinary team (comprised of Designers, UX Designers and Copywriters) to define, manage, and create content for our products that ensures the delivery of a world-class experience.

By example, the ACD fosters a reputation for excellence. He/she will act as a steward of the customer experience, ensuring that it is reflective of a leading consumer electronics and entertainment company. As such, he/she must possess: a deep understanding of the interactive design process with core strengths in interaction design and experience research and strategy; extraordinary attention to detail and skill with navigation/organization design and user-centered design methods; a portfolio that demonstrates these skills through recognizable online projects.

Moreover, the ACD must also be a compelling communicator, with a talent for representing the creative team and its work to internal stakeholders, while also being a champion for the stakeholders to the creative team.

Even though this is a leadership position, it will frequently require the individual to roll up their sleeves and deliver hands-on designs. As such, he/she must be highly skilled in the latest Adobe Creative Suite, and have a solid understanding of the latest user experience strategies, web trends and technologies. Additionally, this person must be a patient and motivational mentor who can be humble and foster an environment that inspires each individual to be engaged and deliver their best work.

Our ideal candidate has experience designing for enterprise-scale global websites, is passionate about digital and user-centered design, and is an ambitious self-starter who is at ease in a small-studio-within-a-large-corporation environment.

Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a design-related discipline (i.e., human factors, graphic design, interface/interaction design, or multimedia related field), with a minimum of 3 years of design team leadership experience (minimum of 6 years of design team leadership experience in lieu of a degree)
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of agency or in-house experience as a Manager/Sr. Manager of ACD, or equivalent
• Must provide related-work portfolio with examples of global and enterprise scale interactive or content engagement
• Experience with developing and managing standards for large-scale, digital design systems
• Prior design experience across desktop, mobile, and tablet devices is strongly desired
• Experience in designing rich social experiences is strongly desired
• Strong conceptual thinker, ability to understand the “big picture” of the project and how it fits with the full consumer experience and business expectations
• Highly skilled at presenting and selling creative concepts to influence stakeholders
• Demonstrated leadership experience with skills to co-lead the design team through feedback, coaching and guidance
• Must have flexibility, good judgment and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment
• Must be proficient in the latest Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint/Keynote

• Ability to travel when required – domestically & internationally (15%-20%)
