The Digital Customer Experience team for a Round Rock based technology enterprise company is seeking an Associate Experience/Creative Director (AED/ACD) to help lead a multi-disciplinary team to design experiences on the website, which receives over 1 billion page views per year, across 150 countries. The AED/ACD is a crucial leader on the team that works closely with the Experience Director, UX Designers, UX Architects, and researchers to deliver world-class design solutions. You are equally adept at quickly producing your own designs as well as mentoring designers and UX architects to produce the best work they can. You never hesitate to roll your sleeves up to get a project done, whether it is creating your own comps, helping research an unknown question, or providing UAT feedback. As a senior member of the team, you are comfortable making decisions, finding your own answers, mentoring junior designers, and presenting to senior leadership. Candidates are expected to be highly pro-active, lead projects through positive influence, and overcome roadblocks to ensure the best possible customer experience. Candidates must be able to work independently to keep a project moving without micromanagement from PM while also being highly collaborative and able to take input from others.

Role Responsibilities:
Develop and execute global design solutions for a variety of digital properties.
Lead interactive design projects that meet user, technical, and business objectives while providing an elegant and attractive design that supports the brand.
Contribute your own design solutions to the team and help drive the overall design direction.
Present work with sound rationale (and an open mind) and politely defend your ideas with thought and confidence to stakeholders.
Exhibit the ability to directly manage designers, including identifying their strengths and weaknesses and coach accordingly.
Help setting goals for them and track their performance.
Create design systems to drive consistency across the site.
Lead and/or participate in user research, usability validation, and A/B testing.
