Associate Creative Director

ASSOCIATE CREATIVE DIRECTOR
The Associate Creative Director works closely with the design team to help implement the vision set by the Creative Director. They are responsible for making sure project deliverables maintain a high-level of aesthetic value, and are delivered on time and on budget. They are aware of each designer’s workload and work alongside the Director and Account Managers to traffic projects.
In addition to serving as a leader on the design team and an expert in creativity, innovation and emerging technologies, the Associate Creative Director adds value by serving as a mentor and by helping to define the “look and feel” of brands and the graphic approach of the department in general.
Creative Execution
Helps manage the creative process and the timely delivery of projects from sign-off of the brand-style through final approval by the Creative Director
Reviews items from design perspective—providing feedback to elevate quality
Reviews work to ensure project directions and compliance with company/property standards for use of logo, branding and other print requirements are being met and checks all proofs for approvals and changes
Assists Account Managers with estimates and budgets by providing accurate time and cost estimates
Coordinates/helps maintain relationships with third party vendors
Works with vendors to obtain quotes, submit artwork, obtain extensions, schedule press checks and coordinate the delivery of materials to various destinations
Manages relationships with photographers, printers, paper reps, freelancers, etc.
Keeps current on printing/web technologies in order to provide highest quality product for clients
Is an expert in pre-press and press management and is available as point person on all press checks
Spearheads annual awards program
Works with Senior Marketing Director to develop and maintain global property marketing template libraries
Maintains a strong and visible presence in the Creative Community
Provides production support to the design team on an as-needed basis

Traffic Management
Leads morning production meetings and helps formulate daily actionable items
Assists in traffic managing all assigned projects for the Global Investors and Agency teams by helping to establish realistic work schedules and expedite rush jobs through the workflow process
