A leading marketing, advertising and sales management firm in the senior housing and services field, is seeking a qualified, outstanding candidate for the position of Associate Creative Director. They take pride in having a top-notch team of creative marketing professionals, a diverse group offering extensive experience in the senior market as well as in their specific area of expertise.

Working within and fostering a team-based philosophy, the Associate Creative Director will lead the day-to-day development of creative work for their clients. Working with the client services, copy, design and digital teams, the associate creative director develops and fine-tunes concepts, writes and reviews copy, and oversees the design development of print, digital and electronic work. The Associate Creative Director also plays a significant role in developing branding programs for clients, as well as supporting the company’s own promotional efforts.

• Lead the development of ongoing campaigns and other client work
• Participate in the initial development of branding programs for clients
• Ensure client goals are achieved
• Support the company’s new business development efforts
• Develop the skills of the creative team
Detailed Responsibilities
• Lead the development of ongoing campaigns and other client work
— Manage the development of integrated campaign concepts, including
copy, design and digital work for print, digital, electronic and other
media
— Review, edit and provide constructive feedback on copy and design for
campaigns and creative work
— Present campaign concepts and major projects to clients
— Work with the client services team to ensure appropriate time and
resource budgets are developed for campaigns and other work
— Supervise photography planning and art direction
— Direct radio and television production
— Provide hands-on creative direction, copy and/or design for projects, as
needed to support variations in creative team workload
• Participate in the initial development of branding programs for clients
— Work with the vice president of creative services to support brand
development projects
— Conduct client site visits and brand discovery when needed— Lead and/or support the development of copy and design for brand
expression
• Ensure client goals are achieved
— Participate in the marketing communications planning process with
the client services team
— Review results reports for each campaign or lead generation effort,
making recommendations for how future efforts may be enhanced
— Meet periodically with clients to review program performance and
identify opportunities for improvement
• Support the company’s new business development efforts
— Oversee the development of ongoing self-promotional materials,
ensuring the Love & Company brand is consistently communicated and
reinforced in all materials
— Participate in agency self-promotional research projects as appropriate
— Assist in the development and presentation of proposals as appropriate,
including assisting in developing spec creative when needed
• Develop the skills of the creative team
— Develop a team of freelance designers and copywriters to supplement
the in-house team
— Create individual development plans for each creative team member
— Set quarterly goals for staff development efforts
— Meet with each team member monthly to review overall performance
and achievement of development plan goals
