Vitamin T is currently in search of a Associate Creative Director for our client in Metro Detroit. This is a full time opportunity!


Responsible for creative operations for a specific group of accounts which may include staff supervision and work production. May direct the activities of subordinates to maintain the agency’s standards of creative excellence, timeliness, and profitability, while achieving the clients’ goals. An experienced presenter. Senior-level client contact.


Ensures the timely development and execution of plan, campaigns, and projects to assure earnings, growth, and profit goals are achieved.
Plans, develops, and defends budget recommendations, work goals, measurements, and training requirements necessary to provide both profitable and quality service to clients.
Provides detailed information and cost estimates to assure accurate data on which to plan and develop functional objectives and budgets leading to stable and profitable accounts.
Provides leadership/motivation and conveys the vision and values of the Agency to staff.
Manages creative consultations with account teams to assure appropriate creative strategies, adequacy/accuracy of input, schedules, budgets, production support, necessary reviews, and client presentations.
May train and supervise assigned staff of writers, artists, production and traffic staff; oversees their execution of all creative efforts to insure they are on strategy, within budget, and on schedule.
Keeps the account team leaders and the Creative Director aware of the use of outside services and materials to assure timely billing and to minimize write-offs.


May work with business development team to develop new client RFP proposals.
Contribute to the Agency
Balance client demands with participation in broader agency initiatives.
Develop strategic, and tactical, solutions and processes
In conjunction with the Creative Director, implement and manage processes and workflows
Partners with Account Service Supervisors/Directors to resolve differences
Maintains external professional relationships to assure the ongoing availability of specialized expertise and gifted freelancers when their services are required.


Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university required
5+ years of work experience as an Art Director or ACD
MUST have AD background
Must have at least 3 years of Ad Agency experience
Must have at least 2 years of supervisory experience
